Agriculture and Forestry has the contribution of 27.08% in the gross domestic product of the country. More than 60% of total population are involved in agriculture in Nepal. Agriculture sector is responsible for the employment of more than 60% ofcountry's workforce. Nepal needs large number skilled manpower in the field of agriculture. The undergraduates in the agricul ture science can work as agricultural officer, technician, agro expert, field officer, supervisor, laboratory specialist.

The NGO/INGO's hires technical professional working in the field of agriculture. Ayurvedic medicine and food supple ment demand are increasing day by day in the world. All Ayurvedic medicine are made by herbs only so' people can grow high demand ayurvedic herbs, as Nepal is the home of Ayurvedic herbs. People can do experiments with new crops fruits like kiwi farming, avocado farming, etc. Moreover, agriculture science has lot of scope in the developed countries providing graduates with jobs and decent salary.
